PRIDE 21 PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

29 January

In celebration of PRIDE 2021 we are putting on a virtual photography exhibition in collaboration with Pineapple Black Art Gallery, which promotes contemporary artists from the North East.

This is an excellent opportunity to showcase photography that captures and celebrates the essence of the LGBTQ+ movement. We are interested in various forms and styles including self-portraits, social documentary, abstract and photographic collage.

Photographs can be old or new, but you must be mindful that these images will be shared in the public domain and have permission to share with models or any identifiable subjects. Each photograph must include a title, your name, and date. You may submit up to 5 images.

All suitable images will be hosted as part of art gallery Pineapple Black’s virtual gallery, with the potential of being exhibited as a physical exhibition later in the year.

Submissions are free and open to all students of Newcastle Sixth Form College. E-mail your submissions to: lgbtq@newcastlesfc.ac.uk in by 12pm on Sunday 31st January to be considered for the exhibition, which will run for the month of February 2021.
