SOCIOLOGY STUDENTS VISIT NORTHUMBRIA UNI

24 October

On Wednesday 24th October a group of second year A-level Sociology students visited Northumbria University.

Students took part in a number of engaging activities and discussions where they made links between their A-level Sociology syllabus and artefacts related to the study of Death and the study of Celebrities.

Students presented their findings and ideas through poster presentations and demonstrated excellent Sociological knowledge which were both praised by the senior lecturer running the event. It was a really informative day with a campus tour and opportunities to learn more about Sociology at Northumbria and university life from current students.

“The students involved were engaged and demonstrated excellent behaviours.” – Amy Scott, Head of Sociology.
