UCAS Update

18 January

The extension to the deadline for UCAS applications has been welcomed, but as we end the second week of January we are really pleased to report that we already have 410+ UCAS submissions for our existing Year 13 students.

This is the highest ever level of entries from our students at this stage of the year, and shows that despite the challenging circumstances faced by our learners this year, our current Year 13 cohort are more committed than ever to not let this disruption stop them in their tracks and make progress to getting their places in Higher Education. The students, Personal Development Team , teachers and our UCAS coordinator all deserve credit for remaining focussed and ensuring we had high quality applications going in all the way through the last term.

As we aim to widen participation in Higher Education and raise students’ aspirations, those applying to university can still contact their Personal Development Coach in email, for any advice and guidance on pursuing accommodation research, accepting offers, and will cover 'What is Clearing?' in the Spring Term.
