Our Year 13 students are now heading off to interviews at Universities the length and breadth of the country. In 2019 375 of our students left NSFC to attend 60+ different universities.
The preparation for university interviews are vital and at the college we go the extra mile to help our students make the most of the opportunity, and go to their interviews confident and well equipped for the challenge ahead.
This year we have a record number of students applying successfully to take medicine at degree level, and they are out attending interviews in locations from Newcastle and Edinburgh to Belfast and Cardiff. The university assessment for a degree in medicine is particularly challenging with students taking practical sessions during their interview days. This week we worked with our students preparing for the medicine interviews, working on many of the practical tasks where they will be required to demonstrate their skills and knowledge.
