"Rebecca has provided me with so much guidance and encouragement. I have really appreciated all of the resources I've had access to: testing out new materials and always opting for the most ambitious pieces, in scale and in skill. Her criticism and words of guidance in regard to my work are always necessary, well thought out and helpful."

"Business has been my favourite subject since starting it at GCSE, I’ve found it interesting and has been one of the first subjects that naturally came to me. From the knowledge to content to different tasks and exercises, I really enjoy the work and as a result, want to explore a career based around Business. I really enjoy the marketing side of the business and how different approaches are used to spread awareness about a product, but also how this can impact a business's success completely. Therefore, I’m looking at doing Business Marketing and Management at university."

"My favourite subject is maths and it has been for as long as I can remember. I find maths fascinating as with each lesson I feel like I'm growing my knowledge of the subject. I love learning and maths makes that learning rewarding, interesting, and meaningful. I love being given a problem, and being able to solve it and know how and why I've solved it."

"My favourite subject is Computer Science. I've always been interested in computers so being able to learn about them in more detail and learning to code has been very interesting. I especially enjoy creating games and brute-forcing math problems via code. Also because my other subjects contain mechanics."

"Spanish is my favourite lesson because I aspire to move to Spain and teach languages, it's extremely interesting and a useful life skill as well as being academic where you can explore Spanish culture and society alongside learning the language."

"Philosophy, ethics, and religion is probably my favourite subject because, while history has been a personal favourite of mine for years, I've always found religion to be interesting and with the introduction to philosophy and philosophers. I've found it much more interactive and intriguing to take part in and study."

"Politics is my favourite subject as it highlights the systems in the UK which determine our futures and shape the political atmosphere. We are able to delve into the fascinating constitutional makeup of our political system and how it has drastically changed. The ideological aspect of the subject has given me great insight into the actual views of different ideologies as well as helping me to understand where I fall politically. It cannot be denied that within this subject there is always constant change and excitement with the world we currently live in."

"My favourite subject is Music Technology because it allows me to be creative and collaborate with my peers as I love giving and receiving feedback from others. The topics that have interested me are the history of music technology as I find it fascinating to see how far music and the equipment used to create music has developed. Also, the more practical side, such as mixing, mastering, and setting up microphones is something I enjoy as it can allow me to experiment with creative effects and how different equipment can create completely different sounds."

"My favourite subject is biology, this is because I have a passion for science and healthcare. Biology highlights many mechanisms in the body which explains why the body functions the way it does. It fuels my passion to study pharmacy as it shows me how healthcare professionals advocate and educate the public in many ways, especially for the less privileged. This showed me the importance of pharmacy, which I believe to be a hybrid of both biology and chemistry."

"I would say Geoff Hughes is one of my favourite teachers. I think Geoff has a great sense of humour. I also appreciate his positivity considering he teaches one of the hardest A-level subjects which is Physics. He always cheers his students on to remain persistent and to be the best they can be."
