A Level Biology students met one of our amazing Alumni students today and found out more about higher education and careers beyond sixth form.
Jessica McCoy who studied at Newcastle Sixth Form College back in 2017 came to speak with current students about her time since leaving college, and her current role as a PHD student in Paleontology at Newcastle/Northumbria University.
Jessica provided an insight into both the wide range of opportunities for progression which exist after A levels and also a great presentation about her current role. Thanks to Jessica who gave up her time to come back and inspire our existing students. Our Alumni speakers are always great at engaging students and sharing their own journeys. They really help with the aspirations and focus of our current students.
