Congratulations to our 2019 Student President Clark Kent, who has won national recognition from the British Youth Council. At their recent Youth Voice Star Awards Clark was recognised in the Northumberland Region for campaigning skills, picking up the award for Young Campaigner of the Year.
The award follows on from a recent visit to the House of Commons, where Clark was invited to speak from the despatch box in parliament representing the BYC.
These experiences and opportunities thanks to the British Youth Council are invaluable, and Clark has been an amazing ambassador for the college over the last year, and the college is extremely proud of his achievements as the sixth form Student President and now on a much wider national platform via the BYC.
