COMPUTER SCIENCE SHOWCASE

23 March

To round off Maths, Physics, and Computer Science Careers Week, a group of Year 12 and Year 13 students showcased software they had developed to their friends, families, and college staff on a night when their hard work was celebrated.

Guests had the opportunity to try out games and apps, choose their favourite, and interact with the students about how these products were created and produced.

Several prizes were given out on the night with the Staff Choice award going to Ash Batey for their platform game, "10 Second Ginger"; the Student Choice award going to Echo Garrett for their coding language, "Tonka"; the Best Game award was given to Kacey Van Der Walt for their simulator game, "Nuclear Reactor"; and the Best App award went to James Robinson for their graphing calculator.
