It was great to welcome Becca from Durham University today.
She introduced our year 12 students to two fantastic initiatives, STEP and Supported Progression.
What is STEP?
STEP offers a dedicated space for young Black-heritage students, to explore not only their own potential but all that Durham has to offer as a potential university destination. Applications are open to Year 12 Black-heritage students from UK State Schools.

What is Supported Progression?
Supported Progression (SP) is designed for Year 12 students who may need extra support to reach their potential. By completing the assessed summer school project, students can earn a guaranteed, conditional offer from Durham University while enhancing their academic skills.
