On the 14th March our students were invited to English Literature careers roundtable. We were thrilled to welcome 3 creatives based in the north east who are all working in fields relating to English Literature.
Every single one of them had a unique perspective to offer our students, as well as helpful knowledge they might take to university and beyond.
Miles Nelson is the Author of the Riftmaster book series and owns a bookshop with his husband in Durham.
Megan Pattie is the Author of her own book of poetry and a bookseller at Waterstones.
Amy Langdown created and runs Newcastle’s only live poetry night, Out of Your Head, and works by day as a creative arts facilitator.
We would like to say a very special thanks to Miles, Megan and Amy for taking time out of their busy schedules to come and talk with our A Level students.
