Last week, 30 of our A Level English Literature students had the exciting opportunity to travel to Durham for the 2024 Shakespeare Festival.
The highlight of the trip was watching Elysium Theatre Company's powerful performance of Othello, which left a lasting impression on our students.
For our Year 13 students, who are studying Othello for their A Level exams next summer, the experience was particularly enriching. The live performance brought the text to life and deepened their understanding by presenting it in a new context.
