“What a Flippin’ Good Time!” – French A-Level Students Visit Julien at Le Petite Crêperie

Our French A-Level students recently enjoyed an unforgettable experience, visiting Julien, the renowned chef and owner of Le Petite Crêperie, a popular city-centre eatery celebrated for its authentic French-style crêpes.

This special visit allowed students to immerse themselves in real-world French conversations while exploring French culture and cuisine firsthand. Engaging directly with Julien, the students practised their spoken French in a lively and practical setting, discussing everything from regional recipes to everyday life in France.

Julien was thoroughly impressed by the students’ language skills, praising their fluency, enthusiasm, and confidence in communicating in French. He highlighted their ability to speak effectively about cultural topics, making the experience both educational and inspiring.

This visit not only provided an excellent platform for students to develop their speaking and listening skills but also offered a taste of French culture through a flavorful and fun experience. It was a fantastic way to bring their classroom learning to life and leave a lasting impression on the students and Julien himself.
