On Thursday, our Year 12 A Level Geography students visited The Helix, a new science and innovation hub in Newcastle, as part of Green Careers Week.
Throughout the day, students heard from experts about low-carbon heating, learned about new net-zero city strategies, and discussed career and advancement opportunities.
Students also explored The District Energy Centre on the site which is an innovative strategy that provides affordable heating to businesses and homes on the site with a vision of providing energy to the wider city in the future.
