Today over 20 universities joined us at Newcastle Sixth Form College for our first Progression Fayre of the year.
For many of our students, this bi-annual event is their first real interaction with a higher education provider, offering them with a first-hand glimpse into what life after sixth form could look like.
Students were able to explore a diverse range of progression opportunities and learn all about the intricacies of university life, all without having to leave our building.
Of course, this experience would not have been possible without the involvement of each and every university representative who took the time to contribute to our event today. We would like to say a massive thank you to:
Jessica Smith (The University of Law), Jake Campbell Brown (Lancaster University), Amy Thompson (Teesside University), Chris Towers & Lauren Entwistle (Newcastle College University Centre), Laura Cheney (Edge Hill University), Jack Cooper (Leeds Trinity University), Emma & Vicky (University of York), Elaine Effard (Corpus Christi College Cambridge), Julie Summer-Morrell (Newcastle Carers), Rebecca & Sophie (The Northern School of Art), Jonathan Day (York St. John University), Jack Render (The University of Sheffield), Victoria Pearce (Leeds Beckett University), Sammi Greener (University of Sunderland), Chris Lyon (The Manchester Metropolitan University), Donna Mills (ASK Apprenticeship Support & Knowledge Centre), Lotte Jackson (King's College London), Mike Murray (University of Strathclyde), Donovan Mason (Heriot-Watt University), Keira & Joe (Newcastle University), Danny Barlow (Northumbria University), Jake K. and Yousef (University of Exeter) Siân Owen (University of Cumbria), Eleanor from (Durham University) and Fiona and Emily (University of Glasgow).
