Today we marked Holocaust Memorial Day by helping our students learn about the importance of remembrance and respect.

We explored the experiences and words of survivors like Primo Levi and Elie Wiesel, using their stories to highlight why this day matters and why understanding our shared history is so valuable.

Students learned about the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau and why 27th January is a key moment for reflection. They also looked at how Holocaust Memorial Day encourages us to recognise the impact of prejudice and persecution around the world, and the role we all play in challenging hateful behaviour.

Our focus today was on learning, understanding and building a kinder future, together.
