Newcastle Sixth Form College welcomed more than 40 education providers, universities, apprenticeship providers and employers to the sixth form for our biggest and most successful ever progression fayre this week.
With an emphasis on supporting our Year 13 students, this event really supports our students in making their choices for future study and careers and supports skills development needs by highlighting how their current studies relate to employment and career development.
Organised by our Personal Development Coaching team, and with a special thanks to Jenny Adams and Jack Main for coordinating the arrival and set-up of so many organisations, this whole college event was attended by over 1,300 students in groups across the whole afternoon, and feedback from the participating organisations was fantastic.
NCUC and Newcastle College Apprenticeships team were both in prime positions to help support our students with further internal progression and were impressed with the quality and enthusiasm of the students attending.
