Our Drama and Theatre students recently enjoyed an exciting and inspiring workshop delivered by The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), one of the UK's premier performing arts institutions. Led by Alice Way, a professional performer and experienced workshop facilitator, students participated in a dynamic, practical session that brought the world of performance to life.

During the workshop, students engaged in hands-on activities designed to develop their acting skills, exploring techniques and approaches used by professional performers. Following the practical exercises, Alice answered questions from students, providing valuable insights into the journey of auditioning, the demands of drama school life, and the realities of building a career in the performing arts.

This experience offered students an authentic glimpse into what it takes to succeed as a performer, inspiring them to develop their craft, boost their confidence, and consider further training in drama and theatre. The workshop also emphasised the importance of dedication, perseverance, and passion in pursuing a career in the arts.

We thank The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and Alice for their generosity in sharing their expertise and inspiring the next generation of performers. This memorable session has sparked new enthusiasm and ambition among our students, and we look forward to more exciting collaborations.
