We're excited to share that yesterday, a group of our students attended the NCG Student Leadership Conference on mental health at Newcastle College.
In collaboration with Unloc, the event was an impactful day filled with insightful guest speakers, discussions, workshops, and invaluable networking opportunities with fellow NCG students from Kidderminster and Southwark.
A special shout-out goes to our student Samuella, who demonstrated exceptional leadership ability by presenting her group's project on positive affirmations to the entire audience of students and staff.
Her contribution helped to highlight the key skills that are required to be a mental health ambassador.
This event has helped embed many important leadership qualities within the students, which will make a positive impact in their lives and the communities they deal with.
