Care-experienced students
We are devoted to assisting all students in realising their potential and offering them all the support they require to complete their A-Levels and progress on to successful career paths. As a college we offer the following support for care experienced students:
Counselling
Newcastle Sixth Form College have a dedicated counsellor who is available for all students who need a confidential space to discuss any difficulties they may be experiencing. The counsellor can also offer advice on agencies external to the Sixth Form who can offer additional support for students. Sessions usually take place by pre-arranged appointment and are on a weekly basis, unless you request otherwise.
