New Year – New Facilities on Campus to support our students

09 January

As we return for the new academic term, the library is undergoing a small transformation with new flooring, additional resources and extra seating and space for students to work in the library and across our 2nd floor study area. The campus at Newcastle Sixth Form College is designed to allow our students to benefit from independent study, with space across the second floor of the building and within the library to support students with quiet study spaces.

The sixth form with opened in 2014 is purpose built as a campus which allows students to stay on site throughout the day, and when outside of lessons they can work on academic study, careers preparation and research, homework and completing extra curricular work. This term over £30,000 will be invested in the new facilities, and will hopefully give our students to extra space and resources to #GOFURTHER
