We are delighted with the A Level results of our Class of 2022, and with progression rates to university at record levels, we are very proud of all our hardworking students this year.
Among the many highs for the sixth form students this year we saw:
- A record number of A* grades awarded across the full spectrum of 27 A Level courses
- A record number of A* - B grades as a percentage of all grades awarded to our students
- The highest number of students progressing to Higher Education, with students accepting offers to universities including Oxford, St Andrews and other Russell Group universities. This level of progression to HE reflects the purpose of the sixth form to create greater opportunity and social mobility for the students in our region.

The last 2-years have been a real challenge for all students across the country and our students have been extremely resilient and with some incredible results, record numbers of A* - A grades and fantastic progression rates to higher education, this years results reflect their hard work, commitment and passion for their A Levels.'
