Josh and Michael on the path to success with Eversheds Unlocked Scheme

17 March

Newcastle Sixth Form College AS Law students Josh Horne and Michael Zebrowski have been selected from hundreds of applications to take part in the Eversheds Unlocked Scheme this Easter.

The scheme, which is run across 6 regional Eversheds offices, was developed in conjunction with the Sutton Trust and the College of Law, and is aimed at AS students with high past or predicted grades and little or no family history of higher education.

Josh and Michael will spend three days in the Newcastle office, gaining an insight into working as a lawyer in an international law firm and attending presentations and seminars detailing the qualification process.

Eversheds will also keep in touch with both Josh and Michael to support them beyond the scheme as they progress from A Levels to university.

Josh said “The Eversheds Unlocked Scheme will give me a unique insight into, and practical experience of, working as a solicitor. This is a great opportunity and I'm really looking forward to it."
