On Tuesday night, Year 13 students from Literature, Drama and Sociology went to see I, Daniel Blake at Northern Stage. This is a brand-new stage production of the Ken Loach movie from 2016.
The stageplay was adapted by the original star Dave John, who happily met with students after the performance to chat (and wipe away tears after a very emotional show).
Our Drama students will be be using the play as part of their analysis of live theatre in their A Level exams.
