It was fantastic to welcome Katie Cole and Taffy Mudiwa from ITV this week.
They opened the day with an eye-opening presentation where Katie and Taffy spoke about their careers, enlightened students to both the excitement and pressure of working in TV & Media and finished with a deep dive Q&A session.
Following this, students engaged in a practical workshop where they wrote and delivered a mock 30 second live “hit”. Congratulations to students Lucy, Esther, Jaz, Alfie, and Josh for performing your written piece in front of the entire group; you made an excellent impression on everyone in attendance!
We would like to say a sincere thank you to Katie, Taffy and ITV for giving our students the opportunity to get a taste for what it is like to work in the TV industry. They have gained invaluable insight into the skills needed to make it in the fun and exciting world of TV & Media.
