Thank you to Gerda and Neve, Modern Languages ambassadors from Newcastle University, who gave a fantastic presentation as part of Languages Careers Week at NSFC!
They spoke to our A-Level French students about studying languages at a higher level of learning and the challenges that come with it. They also discussed the various career paths that open up after completing a degree in modern languages, as well as what our students can anticipate from university life.
Students participated in a Q&A following the presentation and learned more about Gerda and Neve. They talked about their individual university experiences as well as the year they spent studying abroad, which gave them the chance to use the language they were studying in a native-speaking environment.
