#NSFC Alumni - Georgia Punton

18 November

As part of our dedicated Psychology careers week at NSFC, it was great to welcome back alumni student, Georgia Punton, who is currently a PhD student working as part of the CoCo Research Lab at Northumbria University.

She provided an in-depth presentation about "Sleep and Hallucinations" to our students, demonstrating the link between sleep quality and mental health.

Georgia left NSFC with A,B,B grades in 2015 and has used her passion for Psychology to great effect as part of her PhD programme looking into the cognitive factors that underpin the relationship between sleep health and psychotic experiences.

Many thanks to Georgia, for taking time to come back and speak with our students. You are an inspiration, provided a great insight into how A Level Psychology provides the knowledge required for entry routes into diverse and interesting careers.
