We were thrilled to welcome back two remarkable alumni to Newcastle Sixth Form College last week: Hannah Johnson and John Calimbahin, both of whom completed their studies with us in 2023 and have since progressed to the University of Cambridge. Hannah is now studying Human, Social, and Political Sciences, while John is delving into the complexities of Land Economy.
Their return to NSFC was not just a reunion, but a fantastic opportunity for our current cohort of students gain first-hand insights into university life at one of the world's most renowned institutions. As part of their visit, Hannah and John led a Q&A session that covered the entire spectrum of the university experience.
From navigating the UCAS application process, to the highs of receiving offers and the to the inevitable challenges and triumphs of student life, Hannah and John shared their personal journeys, offering invaluable advice and wisdom to our students. They left no stone unturned, discussing everything from enrolment procedures to student finance.
