NSFC celebrated the successes of students past and present in an awards ceremony held in their brand new building on Thursday 19 December.
12 students were awarded certificates of excellence in subjects including Law and Fine Art.
Steve Gibson, NSFC Principal also presented Matthew Otubu with the John Hunter Rutherford Award, which is awarded to a student who has shown not only commitment to their academic studies, but excellence in extracurricular activities, throughout their time at NSFC.
Steve said:
“Our Awards Evening is a special evening for the College as it allows us to recognise some of those students who went the extra mile, and those who showed themselves to be outstanding in different areas of the curriculum.
It is great to see so many former students who achieved their A Level results with us in the summer and are now studying at universities across the country and beyond.
It’s fantastic to be able to share in their achievements, both in and out of the classroom, and we as a College are delighted to have been a part of their story.”
Other award winners on the night were:
