On Monday 18th December our fantastic Creative Writing staff and students ran a celebration evening in conjunction with New Writing North. Students from Mortimer Community College who were shortlisted as part of a competition on the theme of Power, were invited along to an awards ceremony and to find out the winners.
There were readings of all the shortlisted works, presentation of prizes and more staff and students joining in with their own work. It was a fantastic evening and congrats to all of the well-deserved winners!
