On Tuesday 24th September representatives from Oxford University visited Newcastle Sixth Form to talk to our students about personal statements and UCAS applications.
Also invited to the event were Students from Sacred Heart and Staff members from local Schools/Colleges.
Oxford offered a bespoke session to students who were applying to Oxbridge as well as those who wanted to study medicine, veterinary medicine and dentistry.
Once the students had left the staff from Oxford delivered a very useful CPD session to teaching staff regarding the process for applying to Oxford.
We would like to thank Hannah, Jessy and Richard from Oxford for this excellent day and hope to welcome them again in the future.
