Thank you to Professor Neil S. Beattie and Dr Juna Sathian from Northumbria University for coming to speak with our students.
Professor Beattie gave an engaging talk on how physics can be used to tackle carbon dioxide emissions, and the research the university are doing into solar cells. He also spoke about what Net Zero means and how to get there.
Afterwards, Dr Sathian talked about the Physics programmes offered by Northumbria and answered questions from students.
