Newcastle Sixth Form College budding young writers spent last term working with local poet, Stevie Ronnie, as part of the New Writing North’s Young Writers’ City project.
The group produced booklets collecting their work, which ranged from poetry and prose to experiments with visual art and concrete poetry.
Colourful book covers, posters and postcards were created by students Godwin Aniteo, Haleema Bilal-Thompson, Eve Connolly and Louise Richardson, with the help of Stevie, who works as a freelance writer, poet, tutor and creative researcher, and graphic designer Mark Warner.
